OzPCTrader - To Do

These are things I am planning to do with this site in the future. This list is current as per 21/May/2008.

• Payment System

  At this stage I have established the payment system only conceptually. This is good news for you as it means this site will remain free quite a bit longer.

• Pictures

  This is something I want to do at some stage but currently there is no real demand for it. Bulk loads have the option to refer to a picture file that is hosted on a third party server.

• Bulk Loads

  I will allow both traders and individuals to submit ads in bulk, probably in Excel and text formats. In the beginning I will upload the data myself but later I might add an online facility.

• User Stats

  I am planning to add a page for registered users that tells them how many ads they have submitted, how much money they have spent, etc.

• Site Stats

  I am planning to setup a page with site statistics where people can see how many ads were submitted in total, how much it costs to run this site and how much I am earning.

• Synonyms

  I am planning to update my search engine to use synonyms. This will make searching a bit slower but very efficient as it will pull up Processor when you search for CPU, Hard drive when you search for Disk drive, etc. As far as I know Google doesn't even have synonyms. But then, it's easy for me as my site covers only one subject, computer components and Google has to cover a very large number of subjects.
