It is free for a few months until enough buyers
and sellers are using it to make it worthwhile. In the beginning, until
OzPCTrader has achieved a reasonable visibility on the Internet,
not many
people will be using its services and it will be hard to actually sell items.
That's why I am not charging anything during this period. This way you have
no risk and all you can loose is a couple of minutes of your time.
-
Registration is free and it allows you to later change, cancel or re-activate
your ads.
-
Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about this as I am only storing
a hashed version of your password. As a short-term solution you can re-register
with a different email address. This will allow you to place new ads but
you will not be able to change your previous ads. A better solution would
be to send me an email from the email address you originally registered with.
I then would delete your old registration, you could re-register with your
old email address and I would transfer your old ads to your new registration.
-
Of course you can. Just send me an Excel or text file. If you have many items I might even be able to give you a discount.
-
Use the "other/other category and suggest a
new category. Once I have added the new category you can change your
ad and move it into the desired category
-
Go to the site navigation page, If
you can't find it there it probably doesn't exist. In that case just
send me an email and I try to help you
as much as I can.

Single ads will remain free. Bulk loads will be charged according to how
much time it takes me to load the electronic file into my database.

Future payments will be handled by PayPal. PayPal is an easy and convenient
way to process payments on the Internet. You need to have a PayPal account
to make a payment.

This is up to you. You have to arrange this yourself. The purpose
of this site is only to get buyers into contact with sellers.
-
This is a new thing in IE7. It's automatic form fillin. If it annoys you do a search in Google to find out how to turn it off.
-
This site was designed for a screen resolution of at least 1024 by 768. If you are unsure you can check your resolution here.

This happens mostly when you try to update your account details or an ad
with exact the same info as it has already. Usually this is nothing to worry
about..

No, but the basic aim of this site is to get buyers and sellers of computer
parts and systems into contact with each other. Additionally this service
should be cheap and the site simple and easy to use. A secondary aim is
to teach myself something about the involved technology. Finally I wouldn't
mind generating some sort of income from this site.
